Giggling with delight

Simon took off for the footy in Launceston today so I went with my Mum and Charlie to see Jimmy Giggle (a children's television presenter) at Centrepoint.  We were not the only ones with this wonderful plan - there were about 200 families with their kids all clamouring to see Giggle from Giggle and Hoot.

And an hour and a half later we got our turn, Charlie was smiling and I was blushing and slightly breathless. If I wasn't already engaged I may have just slipped him a napkin with my phone number on it.

Sorry Simon, but that man is gorgeous and besides Buble, he would probably be the only other person I'd have on my Celebrity Elevator list.

ANYWHO... Getting out of Children's TV Land and back to reality.  I have finished the Engagement invites (cant remember if I've told you that or not yet), I've just been waiting for the stamps made especially for Kate and Wills' wedding (Love a royal wedding - they are just so amazingly over-media'd). According to my mum-in-law they are now out so I'll be getting these out ASAP.

Our house is about to get a face lift. Uncle Chazlie has been very kind enough to offer to help us put all of the landscaping together and get it done over Easter.  We have put a call out to see if anyone is free to help us (so if you are free PLEASE come and get dirty with us!)  It is all very exciting - this means we SHOULD be able to start entertaining in our backyard... unless this atrocious Tasmanian weather stops us.

OK. That's all. Goodbye!

Love the quiet life... well I would if I knew what one was.

As I am trying to get a very Conjunctivitis-ridden Bugg healthy again, debating what to get my mother for her birthday, and dread the impending chocolate monstrosity which will be Easter - somehow I have found time to get onto my Blog.

This is possibly because I have cut into my sleep time. Something I will most likely regret at 6am tomorrow morning when Charlie decides it is time to get up and begin the day.

Having said this, I like being busy - and I wouldn't have it any other way... maybe.  I must admit looking at Honeymoon destinations to places such as Fiji and the Maldives makes it VERY tempting to just go on our Honeymoon now. Would that be OK? Would you miss us? I don't have enough annual leave saved at work anyway so for now I might just squint really hard at the pictures and make-believe.

So I've updated a few pages, Links and The Day should have a bit more on them for you to explore.  I'm still arguing with the Guest Book page - don't panic though, you've got just short of 2 years to write on it so I'm sure you'll get a chance at some point!

AND FINALLY... I'm down to the last 5 invites to write out of 130. Holy Moly this is good.

And speaking of Holy Moly, we are going to Church on Sunday (I know... What?) so Charlie can be introduced to the community and then in about a month he shall be Christened. Not really Wedding-related but still important.

Love xoxo.

The Conquering of Mail Merges

In your face Mail Merge. I have worked your stupid self out and now you have to do what I say. Like make envelopes that look good.

Yeah that's what I've spent my Tuesday night working out - and I WAS going to go to bed early. Hmm... Oh how easily obsessed I do become.

Anyway, I am just a little bit excited (aren't I about everything?) about how very professional my envelopes look. Please feel free to compliment me when you get yours and pat me on the back because I feel I have already broken my hand doing so myself.

I shall not annoy you any further.... night!

Monday 4 April 2011

Just thought I should tell you...

WOO!

Signed sealed delivered... Oh yeah!

I am laying in bed, trying to work out what the time actually is this morning and if in fact I have to get up or not and I have a horrible realisation - WE HAVEN'T ACTUALLY PAID OUR DEPOSIT YET!

Yiew. I tell you what, if I'm forgetting things already what other dramas am I in for later down the wedding track?

So today in work time I printed and filled out the confirmation booking form and I felt damn good once this was out of the way.

I am in a bit of a pickle about the numbers count so far.  I don't really know how other people do the whole "Sorry you cant come because you cant fit... unless you want to sit on the stairs and look through the floral arrangements, and by the way we can't afford to feed you either. Here's a voucher for Hungry Jacks, pick some up on the way."

I know it's a long way out and a million things will change before we get there BUT still, cutting down the list so far has been really difficult.
