He Says She Says

So I have been told that you liked our 'How we met' stories... I must point out (as I've been asked several times now) they are completely true... except the bit about Simon knocking over an invalid old lady - that's just rubbish.

Since he now thinks quite highly of his blogging skills (you lot have given him a big head) he has now advised me that he thinks he shall blog more often.

So here he is - your new Groomblogger.  He doesn't know that is what he will be referred to as yet, and I don't think I'll tell him. I'm certain he doesn't know my password or how to alter posts yet so that name is currently safe.

Every so often I expect he will pop up unannounced and put his two cents in, mainly I think he just wants to make sure I'm not making stuff up about him (which, lets face it I probably will at some point).

On another note I told my third bridesmaid who she is today. It is all very exciting. One more to go and then I shall do the announcement.  At least I'm getting around to mine unlike SOME people in this relationship who seems to be a bit more slack than I am.

Anywho I'm almost ready to share my list, and the people I have chosen are all absolutely wonderful amazing people who I am glad to have in my life (not that I don't think that about most other people) but these particular four are extremely special to me.

And that is enough about that. Anymore to say? No I don't thinks so.

And Today I Purchased Labels.

I know, wow, what-a-something to post about!

Today I spent a good ten minutes staring at all the different labels at Officeworks and after using all my strength to not purchase fluro orange ones I took home a pack of 400 or so. Yes - we now have all our label needs covered for.

This means that our Engagement Party Invites will be making their way out in the next two weeks or so. Excitement.

Busy Bee

I've been doing a fair amount of mucking around on here the last few days - most of it is behind the scenes stuff but I'm pretty happy with the progress and the way it is all coming together.

Please feel free to have a peek at my Gallery and my Bridal Party pages.  As things are still pretty early in the planning process I don't have alot of stuff that needs to go on them but - well you get the general idea of how they are going to look.

I'm very excited that I have other friends that are engaged too - it just seems to make everything seem that bit more exciting because they're just as hyped up about it all as I am and it is fun to bounce off the walls with other Loved-Up people :)

So I Feel I Must Explain Something To You:

According to Simon, it is painfully embarrassing to be associated with somebody who is writing a blog.

When asked why it was this embarrassing his answer was because it is girly and it has his name on it and this hurts his so-called "Street Cred".

So please allow me to state clearly to you all that Simon DOES NOT help me with this blog at all.

If he ever tries to claim for anything creative on here, smack him in the head because he's lying to you.

Thank goodness the day has been gloomy. It has given me a good reason to stay inside and attack these Engagement invites.

I say attack because there are seriously THAT many to do. Sheesh. Thankyou to my mum for lending me her nifty pen. It writes beautifully (although my handwriting is NOT doing it justice).

We do require a $500.00 deposit within the next 14 days and for you to read, sign and return the attached form.  That is about it for now – we will definitely be doing most of the planning later next year!  Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any queries though!!

Pondering Invitations

So I'm about to go to bed and I realise that I have quite a few invites to get started on tomorrow morning.  I then also realise that I'm super glad I ordered them off of Vista Print instead of making them myself.

Sure this makes me a bit lazy - but I've paid what I would've done for the fancy paper and these little beauties come all ready to go, I've just got to put names on them.

Actually, I highly doubt my laundry will get done tomorrow because I can guarrantee I'll get carried away with doing these and will probably lose track of the day.

Maybe Charlie can help.

OMG - It's a date!

This here is something that is SUPER exciting.

I have just made first contact with booking our venue, Barilla Bay. I squeal abit as I type this because I am a hyperactive individual!!

Hi there Angela,

It’s Sarah here (Simon and I came and had a look around a few weeks ago) and after attending a wedding over the weekend in which the reception was held at Barilla we have decided that we would like to go ahead and book ourselves in!

The date we are looking for isn’t for a while, (Saturday 2^nd March, 2013) and we would be looking for the ceremony and reception to be held there as  a combined event in the afternoon/evening.

What we would like now is to chat about what we need to do in regards to paying deposits and anything else that we should arrange at this point in time, obviously everything else we’ll leave until next year.

We would like to thank you in advance for how pleasant you were when we first met you, you have made us feel as though we will be in very safe hands as we arrange our special day and we are looking forward to working with you leading up to it!
